There are a few different varieties of Lavender used to produce the essential oil, ours is the Augustifolia, which is considered the finest.
  • Lavender is one of the most versatile oils, considered the best oil for general use, and one of the few oils that can be used undiluted.
  • It can be daubed on the temples or back of the neck to aid sleep, relaxation, and relieve headaches.
  • Use neat on insect bites, also acts as a repellent.
  • This oil can be used to disinfect surfaces around the home, and is also anti fungal, so effective against Athlete’s foot and other fungal skin problems.
  • Use in a carrier oil to massage painful areas, to stimulate the circulation, for hair health and hair loss.
  • When applied, diluted, directly to acne spots, it can reduce the flare up, and lessen any possible scarring.
  • As a steam inhalation also helps relieve respiratory congestion.

Although Lavender is such a versatile all rounder, do not ingest, or use when pregnant or breast feeding.
Diabetics should use with care.
